Juanita Cruz

Washington- Juanita Cruz, died peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Hackettstown Medical Center. She was 70. One of 13 children, Juanita was the daughter of the late Inocensio Delgado and Ausunion Hernandez. Juanita was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico and lived in NYC and Perth Amboy for most of her life before moving to Washington in 2007. She was a homemaker. Juanita is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Ramon Cruz; children, Juan Cruz of Washington, Ana Sowden and husband, Marc of Bridgewater; grandchildren, Joseph Ernst, Jiana Ernst, Zachary Cruz and Jordan Cruz. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 8:30 PM during the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
