Juana Torres

Juana Torres, age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She was born in Peru, from Japanese parents, and decided to come to the US in hopes for a better future for her and her family. Juana had five beautiful children (Enrique, Javier, Guisela, Jessica, and Julissa), nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Juana was known for her kind and generous heart, as well as for her creative crafts and knitting. Everything she put her mind to, she achieved through hard work, dedication, and commitment. One of her proudest achievements was becoming a citizen of the United States at 82 years of age. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed. Now that she has passed, she is eternally reunited with her husband Castulo Torres who passed away in August 2024 and whom she was married with for 62 years. She has been a perfect role model to all of us and will continue to live in our memories and our hearts for the rest of our lives.
