Joyce Alice Ford

Joyce Alice Ford, 81, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at RWJUH in Somerville. Daughter of the late Thomas Quincy and Elizabeth (Czado) Kinney, Joyce was born in Somerville, raised in Bridgewater, and resided in Hillsborough for most of her life. Joyce was a graduate of Somerville High School. She worked as a legal assistant for Johnson & Johnson retiring in 2007. She was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Lufkin in 2013; siblings, Thomas Van -Marter Kinney, and Barbara Marion.   She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Michael Ford; loving son, Don Henry and wife, Meghan of Mason, OH; grandchildren, Schuyler Hazard, Aster Lee Lufkin, Patrick Lufkin, Abigail Henry, Caroline Henry; and siblings,  Katherine Boegershausen,  Rose Kinney, Dr. Richard “Duke” Kinney and wife, Marlena, and Nancy Gamblin and husband, J.Bradford; and her cherished little dog, "Buddy". 

Visitation will be held from 2-5PM, on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 10AM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the funeral home followed by burial at Bound Brook Cemetery.
