Manville- Josephine A. Pankowski, 72, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 25, 2022. Daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Kacsmar, Josephine was born in Somerville, grew-up in Bradley Gardens, then moved to Manville in the 1970’s. Josephine worked in farming at Sun Haven Farms in Hillsborough, and in addition, did waitressing at several restaurants in the area. She was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and always be remembered for her painted pumpkins and going to yard sales with her grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved partner of 40 years, Matthew Fierst; children, Jason Pankowski and wife, Karin, Tori Pankowski; siblings, Michael Kacsmar, Theresa Stoveken, Judi Lella; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7PM with a 6:30PM service on Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
