John Michael Smolinski

Manville – John Michael Smolinski, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson Somerset, Somerville, NJ at the age of 69.

He was born on November 25, 1953 in Somerville, NJ and was a life long resident of Manville.

John was predeceased by his parents, Michael Smolinski and Bernice (Grzywna) Smolinski and his brother-in-law, Joseph Jaworsky, Jr.

He graduated with honors from Montclair State College, Montclair, NJ with a degree in Chemistry. He was employed at several chemical companies in Central New Jersey as a chemist. He was a lifetime parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Church, Manville, NJ.

John enjoyed many sports. He especially excelled in ice skating, ice hockey, skiing and golf.

John is survived by his sister, Wanda Jaworsky, his devoted and caring nieces, Donna McKee and Diane Zarsky. He is also survived by his precious great nephew, Ryan Michael McKee and wife, Keira.

Private burial will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, PA. arrangements entrusted to Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
