John Fernandez

John Fernandez, Real Estate Developer, died on July 6, 2023 at the age of 79. In his earlier years, John attended Rutgers University and partially through, he followed his heart and passion, and became a businessman. He started out selling cars and then opened up a gas station and car wash. Later he then founded the Flemington Development Corporation which he ran until his retirment in 2013.   John was the son of the late Adelino and Carmen Fernandez and was born and raised  in Newark. He lived in Clifton before moving to Raritan in 1996. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Elaine E. Fernandez; daughter, Lisa Marie Fernandez and cherished granddaughter, Cianna Ortiz. John was a communicant of St. Barnard Church in Bridgewater. Funeral arrangements will be announced once they become available.
