Janet Mary Pizzelli

Janet Mary Pizzelli, 61, passed away peacefully in her home in Somerville, NJ on Christmas evening 2025.  She was born in New York and raised in Elizabeth, NJ.     She was a graduate of Mother Seton Regional High School and became a hairdresser after working at her father’s salon and successfully running it after his passing in 1983. She happily worked at Hair Gallery in Bridgewater for many years.

She enjoyed crocheting and often gifted her friends with her wearable items. She also regularly made dog sweaters for her two pups Loki and Little Bear. 

She spent her final Christmas day with her son Ian Fealey, nephew Jesse Pizzelli and sister Lisa Pizzelli. In addition, her closest friends, Julie Tutunjian and Meghan Kelly along with their families, spent nearly every day and/or night with her to ensure her comfort and peace.

Janet was welcomed into heaven Christmas night, reunited with those who went before her.  This includes her daughters Mary Rose Fealey and Marisa Rose Fealey, her mother Janet Wright Pizzelli Intile, her father Frank Pizzelli and her brother Frank Pizzelli, Jr. She chose to spend her final Christmas with everyone.

A memorial service celebrating Janet's life will be held 11AM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Somerville, 158 W. High Street, Somerville, NJ 08876. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to notaneasyfix.org.
