Jane Ann Scarano

Jane Ann Scarano, 85, formerly of Manchester Twp, NJ, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at The Delaney in Bridgewater. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Jane grew up in Nutley, NJ, before making her home in Fairfield, NJ, where she raised her children. In her later years, she relocated to Manchester Township, NJ, and eventually moved to The Delaney in Bridgewater in 2024.

A proud 1956 graduate of Nutley High School, Jane went on to dedicate over 20 years of service to the Township of Fairfield as a tax collector, retiring in 2013. She was known for her kindness, sense of adventure, and the deep love she showed to her family and friends. 

Jane is survived by her loving daughters, Amy Scarano and her wife, Samantha Giusti, and Susanne Burnett and her husband, Robert; and her cherished grandchildren, Beau and Sabine.
