James E. Stagaard

Bound Brook- James E. Stagaard, 55, died on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Complete Care in Toms River. Son of the late Richard and Catherine Stagaard, James was born in Newark and lived in Summit before moving to Bound Brook 10 years ago. James was a carpenter and worked for Joe Episcopo & Sons in Summit. He is survived by his beloved long time partner, Dona Geren of Bound Brook; beloved daughters, Cynthia Lafayette (Shane) of Cranford, Allison Stagaard (AJ Larussi) of TX, step daughter, Danielle Geren (Jeff), siblings, Richard Stagaard (Donna) of Phillipsburg, and Christine Stagaard (Ray) of Lanoka Harbor, Erica Stagaard and Eric Stagaard. Visiting hours will be held from 9-10AM  with a service beginning at 10 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 followed by burial at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
