He is also survived by his sister Kelly Patullo, her husband Frank, their son Frankie, and daughter Tara.In 1974, Jim-e began pursuing his passion for hairdressing, inspired by his father James Sorace Sr. He started working at Princetonian Hair in Somerville, before moving to Coiffures by Dan, in Bound Brook where he met Daniel Gianfrancesco. Together, they opened the iconic Gatsby Salon in Greenbrook, NJ in 1977.
