Hillsborough- Irene A. Brown, 93, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough. Irene was born and raised in Somerville and resided in Edinburg for over 35 years before moving to Hillsborough in 2018. She was the Kitchen Manger for Meals on Wheels in New York. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she enjoy life to it's fullest. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, James Brown, Sr. and son Walter Stanley Brown.

Irene leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, James E. “Jeb” Brown and wife, Sabina, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held from 11-1PM on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the  Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Followed by burial of ashes at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
