Hildegard A. Esposito

Hildegard “Hilda” Ann Esposito, 84, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 with her loving sons at her side. Hilda was born in Patterson, New Jersey and was raised in Whitehouse, NJ and resided in Middlesex before calling Bridgewater home for over 47 years. Hilda was a bookkeeper for Somerset Trust before starting her family and becoming a loving and proud homemaker. In her spare time, Hilda enjoyed crafting and quilting.  She eventually turned this hobby into her own business, named Country Creations, which allowed her to share her work through craft shows and festivals and also through craft boutiques.

Hilda is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Heiss, and siblings, Frieda Helmstetter and Albert Heiss.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted sons, Philip and Doug Esposito, and in-laws, Sue Heiss and Gerald Helmstetter.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8PM on Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 Funeral services will be held at 10Am Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
