Helen Poulsen

Woodbridge- Helen Poulsen, 91, died peacefully with her daughter by her side, on Sunday, January 1, 2023 just after her 91st birthday on December 30, 2022 at Sunrise Senior Living in Bridgewater.  Daughter of the late Stephen and Julia Sipos, Helen was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge. She retired in 2002 after working many years as an executive medical administrator for the State of NJ- Woodbridge State School. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Ove Poulsen; son, Chris Poulsen, and granddaughter, Tamara Ponson; as well as siblings, Suzanna (Rose) Hegedus, Margaret Sipos, Emma Racz, Joseph Sipos, Stephen Sipos, and John Sipos.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved daughters, Candy Ellen Greczylo and husband, John of Pittstown, Carolyn Hilt and husband, Thomas of Sarasota, FL; step-sons, Lester Poulsen and Richard Poulsen; daughter-in-law, Melissa Poulsen; grandchildren, Christen Greczylo, John Greczylo, Jr., Candy Greczylo, Schylar Finley; numerous great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 10-11AM with a funeral service beginning at 11AM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Burial will follow at Clover Leaf Cemetery in Woodbridge.
