Harry Luther Obituary

Rev. Harry M. Luther, 61, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on March 7, 2026 at RWJ University Hospital, Somerville, New Jersey.

Born in Queens, New York, Harry grew up in New Jersey, eventually settling in Raritan Boro.

Harry is predeceased by his father Jack Luther and mother Audrey Booth.  He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne; his sons Nicholas and Joseph Luther; his brother Jack Luther and wife Elizabeth; stepson Alex Catelli; stepson Tyler Catelli and wife Olivia and their precious daughters Lillian and Chloe.  Harry is survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Claudia Homoki; his brother-in-law James Homoki and wife Helen and their son and daughter Michael and Kristen. He is survived by his sister-in-law Sandra Homoki and son Jace. Harry touched the lives of many and leaves behind other family members and many dear friends. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

In later years, Harry found his calling after accepting Jesus Christ into his life, earning his Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling. He was also a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Harry’s counseling practice was his passion, helping hundreds of clients to ‘let the healing begin’. Over the years he ministered at various hospitals and prisons, bringing hope and prayer to those in need.  Harry’s final act of selflessness was in death by being a donor so that others may live.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 to 6:00PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with a memorial service at 5:30PM. Cremation was held privately.
