Gertrude Vogt Corsini, 94, died peacefully on December 27, 2022 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville, NJ.  She was born on January 7, 1928 in Middlesex NJ and was a lifelong resident. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony, son-in-law Andrew C. Simpf Jr., her parents Emil and Gertrude Vogt, her brothers and a sister.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Simpf, grandson Andrew C. Simpf III and granddaughter Cristina McKeever (Ryan), her son Anthony Corsini and wife Kathy Lee, granddaughters Dana Keck (Brian), and Michelle Martini (Christopher).  She adored her six great grandchildren, Brynn, Rylie, Grayson, Shane, Gianna, and Bryce. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her but are grateful for the many years they had with her.

Gertrude and Anthony were married for 68 years and enjoyed traveling the world after raising their children.  She was a wonderful homemaker and cook who equally loved entertaining and socializing.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her elegant sense of style will always be remembered.

She had a winning smile, a marvelous sense of humor, and a kindness that she spread generously. Her happiest moments were spent with her family and large circle of friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the Bridgewater funeral home in Bridgewater NJ.

Prayers will be said 8:30am Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the funeral home followed by a 9:30am funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, Middlesex NJ . Burial will follow in Bound Brook Cemetery on Mountain Avenue in Bound Brook, NJ.
