Geraldine Lozechnik Obituary

Geraldine Lozechnik, peacefully departed this world on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA, at the age of 91. Born to the late George and Mary Wizda in the heart of Freeland, PA, Geraldine's journey through life was marked by unwavering dedication, kindness, and an indomitable spirit.

Geraldine's story is one of commitment and perseverance. Her career at Baker and Taylor spanned an impressive 30 years, a testament to her unyielding work ethic and reliability. Notably, she achieved the remarkable feat of never missing a single day of work—an achievement that speaks volumes about her character and steadfastness.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Geraldine was a devoted fan of the New York Mets and the New York Jets, her enthusiasm for her teams echoing through every game and season. Her passion for sports was matched only by her love for her family.

She is survived by  her beloved husband of 72 years, Stephen, who shared in her joys and triumphs, forming an unbreakable bond that stood the test of time. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Geraldine's legacy lives on through her daughters, Carol Singer (Rod) and Karen Linick (Scott), who she nurtured with boundless affection and wisdom. Her presence enriched the lives of her five grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Christopher, Erica, and Ashley, as well as her great-grandchildren, Jack, Patrick, and Claire, who will forever cherish her memory.

In addition to her immediate family, Geraldine leaves behind siblings—Thelma, Joan, Elaine, George, Edmund, Ron, Janet, and Joseph—each carrying a piece of her spirit and warmth in their hearts.
