Somerville- Gerald R. Gaughan, 80, died Monday, January 2, 2023. Son of the late Patrick and Dorothy Gaughan, Gerald was born in Orange and lived in Montclair and Hillside before moving to Somerville 30 years ago. He worked for US Air in the lost and found department until his retirement in 1992. He is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Gaughan. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy A. Spolarich (Carl); nephews, Stephen (Ann), Karl, Christopher (Nancy), Jonathon; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4-7 pm at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held 9:30am Friday, January 6, 2023 at the funeral home followed by burial at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
