Gary L. Johnson, 73

Bridgewater, New Jersey - Gary L. Johnson, 73, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 23. He was born in Bethlehem, PA to the late A. Lloyd and Shirley Johnson (née Horn) on October 17, 1950.

Gary received a Bachelor of Science degree from Moravian College in 1973. He owned Equipment Marketing Incorporated, a heavy duty truck equipment company. He was an active member of Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, where he served as a church elder. In his spare time he enjoyed crossword puzzles, Sudoku, tending to his deck garden, and driving around in his Mustang Cobra. He was a true family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, and their families.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Kathleen; daughters, Tracy Miceli (Gregory) of Frenchtown, Kristin Laine (Kenneth) of Raritan, and Carrie Gabrielson (Eric) of Bridgewater. Gary is also survived by his brother David and his wife, Barbara; four grandchildren, Jocelyn, Clara, Julia, and Elisa; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A memorial service will held 2pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Pluckemin Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
