Gajraj "Mike" Dindial Obituary

In Loving Memory of Gajraj “Mike” Dindial

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Gajraj Dindial, who peacefully departed this life on July 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on December 10, 1964 in Zeeburg, Guyana, Gajraj lived a life defined by resilience, devotion, and unconditional love. He was a man of quiet strength whose greatest joy came from caring for his family and watching them grow. For the past four years, following back to back devastating strokes, he faced each day with remarkable courage and determination. Though his journey was filled with challenges, he continued to inspire those around him through his perseverance and unwavering spirit. His strength taught us the true meaning of resilience, patience, and unconditional love.He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle nature left an enduring mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His family was the center of his world, and the values he instilled—love, faith, hard work, and compassion—will continue to guide generations to come.He is survived by his beloved wife Shanta (Sandy); his loving mother Ruby; his loving children, Christopher and Samantha; his cherished grandchildren, Maya and Matteo; his sisters, Indra, Nalita, and Mum; his daughter in law Varsha; his brother in laws Kenny and Terry; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, Buniadi (Bosin) Dindial. In keeping with Hindu beliefs, we find comfort in knowing that while his physical presence has left us, his soul is eternal. As the Bhagavad Gita teaches, the soul is neither born nor does it die; it simply continues its eternal journey. We pray that his atman finds everlasting peace and that Lord Krishna grants our family strength during this time of loss.He leaves behind a family who will forever treasure his love, his quiet sacrifices, and the countless memories he created. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to share with him.
