Beloved Wife and Mother, 56

A cherished life has come to an end, Gail Ann Kalmar, 56, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at RWJUH-Somerville. Born in New Brunswick, Gail spent most of her life in Bridgewater, where she made lasting memories with family and friends. Gail graduated from Bridgewater High School West, Class of 1988. She was a kind-hearted soul whose warmth made a lasting impression on all she came across. Gail will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Although her time on earth ended too soon, the love she shared will last a life time and her memory will live on within those who loved her.

Gail was predeceased by her mother, Gloria Stoms, in 2014. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 29 years, Thomas Kalmar, and their children, Julia Kalmar and Tommy Kalmar, Jr. Her grandchildren Aubrey, Aiden, Noah and Sophia. She is also survived by her father, Grover Walls, her brother, Tony Stoms, and her sister, Victoria Ortiz.

A memorial service in Gail’s honor will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Bradley Gardens Reformed Church, 124 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating her life. Arrangements are under the care of Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
