Frederick "Buddy" Cavalear

Frederick “Buddy” Cavalear 67, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Buddy was born in Somerville to the late Frederick and Kathryn Cavalear. Buddy was a Bridgewater High School graduate and worked his whole career at Bridgewater Township Public Works retiring in 2008. In his spare time Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, watching professional wrestling with his brother and drag racing with his sisters. He loved the outdoors and adored his pets.

Buddy is predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Ann Reed and Janet Lynn Gerwer.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving siblings Betty Jean Naminsky and William Cavalear many nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all who he knew and interacted with. He was such a friendly salt of the earth person. Loved and was loved by all of family and friends. 

Memorial services will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM December 21, 2021 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Cremation was held privately.
