South Bound Brook- Fred S. Savaryn, 72, died peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022 at RWJUH-New Brunswick. Son of the late Fred and Jeanne Savaryn, Fred was born, raised and was a lifelong resident of South Bound Brook. He was a Sergeant in the US Marines during the Vietnam War.   He worked as a forklift mechanic and retired from Barclay Brand in South Plainfield. He was predeceased by his parents, and sister, Patricia Savaryn. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Mark Savaryn and wife, Beth of New Hope and his grandson, Tyler. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A graveside service with military honors will beheld 9AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project  or Tunnels to Towers foundation.
