Raritan- Frank P. Marvuglio, Jr., 78, died on Monday, December 14, 2020 at home. Born in Somerville to the late Frank P. and Amelia Marvuglio, Frank was a lifelong resident of Raritan. He served in the US Navy from 1960-1963. Frank was a hairstylist for most of his career and was the owner of Crescendo Beauty Salon in Somerville for 35 years. After retiring from hairstyling, he then went on to work with his son as a driver for Rotor Clip Co. in Somerset. Frank was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and professional photographer. He enjoyed taking trips on his motorcycle to the Adirondacks and would take photographs of things that would interest him. The Adirondacks was his home away from home. He also is known for his writing talents. Frank has written and published several books over the years. Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved son, David G. Marvuglio and wife, Briana of Bridgewater and their 2 children, Sean and Ava. He also is survived by his brother, Mark Marvuglio. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Frank would want everyone to remain safe and a memorial to his life will be planned once we can gather. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the adirondackcouncil.org.
