Obituary

F. Joseph Beotsch

Bridgewater- F. Joseph Beotsch, 90, died on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his home in Bridgewater. Son of the late Francis J. and Emma Beotsch, Joe was born in Kearny and lived in Bridgewater since 1963. He was a graduate of St. Benedicts High School and attended Seton Hall University. He was honorably discharged from the US Marines in 1952. Joe worked as automotive buyer for Two Guys-Vornado in Garfield retiring in 1982. He was devout catholic and dedicated communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. Joe was a member and PGN at the Knights of Columbus, 5959 Wind O’ the Hills in Martinsville. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jewel E. Beotsch in 2013; granddaughters, Courtney and Caitlin; sons-in-law, Jerry and Jay; and sisters, Virginia and Marylyn. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved children, Eleanor and husband, Ray, MaryJo, and Jo-Ellen; grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Calen, Emily; and great-grandchildren, Hazel, Violet, Luca, Hudson, Brayden, Emma and Sierra. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 9AM on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the funeral home followed by a 10AM Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville.
