 Raritan – Evelyn M. Tereman, 92, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 died peacefully at her home in Raritan, NJ. Evelyn was born and raised in Hazelton, PA before moving to Raritan in 1959. Evelyn was a proud stay at home mother, devoting her love and spirit to her family of eight children. She was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Church in Manville, a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 12 in Somerville, NJ and the Raritan Senior Citizens Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, doing word search puzzles, listening to country music and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her special needs daughter, Linda.

 Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, John G. Tereman, son, Michael Tereman, daughter, Janet Tereman and grandson, Bryan Tereman.

 She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Rich Tereman (Teresa) of Ohio, Lorraine Bartek (Don) of Chester, Linda Tereman of Raritan, Charlie Tereman of Raritan, Ed Tereman of Raritan, and Nick Tereman (Keelin) of Bridgewater, son-in-law, Rich Simon, grandchildren, Matt (Danielle), Chris, Tim, Tyler (Hannah), Dylan, Connor (Carly) and Meghan, and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Ariel, Michael, Emmet, and Ian.

 Visiting hours will be held from 2-4PM and 7-9PM, Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be held at 9:30AM Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
