Bridgewater- Elizabeth Farkas, 80, died peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her home in Bridgewater. Daughter of the late Geza and Victoria Miskolczi, Elizabeth was born in Subotica, Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States in 1957 arriving in Brooklyn, NY. She then moved to Oakland, California where she attended high school and then moved to Yonkers, NY. She met her husband at a Hungarian picnic and after marriage lived in Edison, Somerset and then lastly moving to Bridgewater in 1981. She was a homemaker and leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 61 years, Michael F. Farkas; daughter, Elizabeth Harper and husband, Thomas of Bridgewater; grandchildren, Brandon and his loving wife, Lindsey, Austin, Abigail, Victoria; brother, Richard Miskolczi of North Brunswick; and sister, Clair Mateescu of Kendall Park. Elizabeth is predeceased by her sister, Terizia "Terri" Biro of Saylorsburg, PA who passed in 2008.

Burial took place at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Private funeral services were entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
