Bridgewater- Elayne C. Dwyer, 52, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at RWJUH-Somerset. Daughter of Lawrence and Elaine Dwyer, Elayne was born in Somerville and lived most of her life in Bridgewater. She was a  graduate of Immaculata High School and then went on received her BA from Seton Hill University  in Greensburg, PA. Elayne worked as a  social worker for Visions and Pathways in Bridgewater.   In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved son, Arthur R.  Akins, Jr. "AJ"; siblings, Lawrence R. Dwyer, Jr. (Maureen) of Somerville, Edward L. Dwyer, Jr (Jody) of Asbury, Gamble R. Dwyer of Clinton, William G. Dwyer, III (Erin) of FL, and Lyn Spataro (Joe) of UT. A funeral mass will be offered 9AM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville followed by entombment at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
