Edward J. Zuromski

Edward J. Zuromski, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was 78 years old.

Born in Somerville to the late Stanley and Jennie Zuromski, Ed was a lifelong resident of the Finderne section of Bridgewater. He graduated from Bridgewater High School in 1964 and proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971. Ed dedicated 38 years to L.A. Dreyfus Co. in South Plainfield, starting as a systems analyst and retiring as an innovation engineer in 2006.

A life member of the Finderne Fire Department, Ed was known for his commitment to community service and his generous spirit. He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley, in 1988, and his cherished grandson, Grayson, in 2016.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Charlene P. (Harabin) Zuromski; his children, Derek Zuromski and wife Patricia of South Bound Brook, Michael Zuromski and wife Melissa of North Carolina, Todd Zuromski of Bridgewater, and Jason Zuromski of Florida; his grandchildren, Cole, Ayden, Shelby, Anabelle, John, Dylan, Payton, and Mason; and his brother, Joseph Zuromski of Pennsylvania.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will take place at 6:30 PM during the visitation.

Ed will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
