She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Bassi.

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10am-12noon with a funeral service at 12noon on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Somerville.
