Daniel Coppola, Jr. Obituary

Somerset- Daniel J. Coppola, Jr., 63, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at RWJUH-New Brunswick. Son of the late Daniel J. Coppola, Sr. and Rita (Breslin) Coppola, Daniel was born in Somerville and lived in Middlesex before moving to Somerset 15 years ago. He worked as a career firefighter for the Lyons VA Hospital where he retired in 2010 and was also a volunteer firefighter for Middlesex Boro for over 25 years. He then went on to work for Franklin Township as a fire inspector, and in addition, he taught fire codes at Union County College. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 14 years, children, grandchildren, siblings and many extended family and friends. Private funeral services were entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by visiting donate.lls.org.
