Chuck & Grace Crane

Celebration of life and love for Charles (Chuck) and Grace (Cordaro) Crane

Chuck and Grace Crane met while attending Newark State Teachers College during their freshman year and married in December of 1953.  Chuck, a retired high school teacher touched the lives of many.  Grace, a loving wife and mother, worked for her family business. Together they raised five children, Charlie, Mark, Jo Anna, Carol and Kathy, have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Chuck and Grace spent most of their married life living in Bridgewater, New Jersey where they shared a life of love and adventure.  In June of 1996 they moved to Clermont, Florida where they enjoyed warm sunny days and meeting many new friends.  Chuck predeceased Grace at the age of 91 on November 20, 2019, and Grace followed at the age of 92 on February 28, 2024.

As their final earthly wish, Chuck and Grace chose to wait for each other and together in their urn, they will be forever laid to rest on September 7, 2024.

Visiting hours will be held from 9AM- 10AM with a celebration of life and love service to begin at 10AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Save the Manatee – Chuck and Grace’s favorite animal rescue organization.
