Christine Jeanne Korsun

Christine Jeanne Korsun, 77, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Somerset, NJ. Christine was born in Carbondale, PA to the late George and Mary Evancho and resided in Simpson, PA before moving to Piscataway NJ.  Christine performed various roles for the Piscataway Board of Education and Parks and Recreation, which impacted the lives of many students and children in the community. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend to many.  

Christine is predeceased by her loving husband, Kris Korsun who passed in 2006 and her beloved son, Brian Korsun.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving sons, Scott Korsun and his wife Elizabeth, Keith Korsun and his wife, Nancy, and David Korsun, daughter-in-law, Amy Korsun, brother, Robert Evancho, and grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Keira, Alex, Lily, Colton and Caden.

Visitation will be held from 2-4PM and 7-9PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807, a Parastas service will be held 7:00PM on Thursday. Funeral mass will be 10AM, Friday April 4, 2025 at St. Mary’s Byzantine Church in Hillsborough, NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
