Chester K. Cejnowski

Manville- Chester K. Cejnowski, 93, died peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at RWJUH-Somerville. Son of the late Vincent and Anna Cejnowski, Chester was born in Bayonne, NJ and lived most of his life in Manville. He was US Army Veteran, attaining the rank of sergeant during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Egan Machinery in Bridgewater. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rita who died in 2015. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved sons, Gary C. Cejnowski of Manville, David J. Cejnowski and wife, Carmen of Frenchtown, NJ; 7 grandchildren,  Kristine, Kira, Lisa, John, Adam, Ryan, Elyse; and great- grandchildren, Carmen, Rosalie and Wyatt.  Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021  from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 8: 00AM on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at (Christ the Redeemer Parish) Sacred Heart Church in Manville, Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
