Carol A. Henryk

Carol A. Henryk, 77, of Middlesex, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Middlesex, Carol was the daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude Rapacki. A lifelong resident of the town, she graduated from Middlesex High School in 1965 and later earned her bachelor's degree from Montclair State University.

Carol dedicated many years to shaping young minds as a science and biology teacher for the Hamilton Township Board of Education before retiring in the early 1990s. She was a devoted communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, where she was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society. Deeply involved in her community, she was a proud member and past exalted ruler of the Middlesex Elks and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, John W. Lupo Memorial Post 306 in Middlesex.  In her earlier years, she found joy in mentoring young girls and boys as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader.

Above all, Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William J. Henryk III, in 2015. She is survived by her children, Billy Henryk (Patty), Brian Henryk (Kelly), and Amy Farrell (Edward); and her cherished grandchildren, AJ Henryk, Jessica Puntillo, and Christopher Puntillo.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visiting hours on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 10 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by an 11 AM Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Altar Rosary Society. 

Carol will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to education, and unwavering love for her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
