Beatriz Verdura

Beatriz Verdura, 96, died peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Daughter of the late Indalicio and Amelia LLera, Beatriz was born in Buenos Aries and immigrated to the United States in 1970. She lived in Hillsborough, moved to Bound Brook where she lived most of her life; Piscataway, and then back to Hillsborough about 5 years ago. She was a seamstress. Beatriz was predeceased by her husband, Francisco Verdura in 2004. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved daughters, Amelia "Amy" Jankowski of Hillsborough, Miriam Culbertson (Ron) of Piscataway; grandchildren, Kerry Zisk of PA, Sean Jankowski of Hillsborough; and great-granddaughters, Sarah and Lauren Zisk. Visiting hours will be held from 9-10AM with a service beginning at 10AM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.  Entombment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater.
