Barbara A. Dunn

Hillsborough-Barbara A. Dunn, 70, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at RWJ of Somerset. Barbara was born in Buffalo, NY, grew up in Clark, NJ, before moving to Martinsville where she raised her family, then moved to Hillsborough in 2006. She was a preschool teacher for Robin’s Nest in Hillsborough, NJ for many years. Earlier, she worked for the Bound Brook School System as a substitute teacher. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, William O. Dunn who passed in 2006.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Stacy L. Dunn, Jessica C. Dunn and partner, Nik Vazeos; grandchildren, Sophia and Vincent Fulmino and step-grandchildren, Hadley and Landrie Vazeos.

Barbara was adventurous and known for her many interests including her love of music, dancing, ceramics, going to the beach, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She particularly loved her family. She was always willing to help her daughters and extended family any way she could. Barbara had a gentle way about her but a tremendous heart. She will forever be missed.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807  with a memorial service at 6:30PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
