Awilda Quinones

Pittstown- Awilda Quinones, loving mother, grandmother and daughter, died on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Hunterdon Medical Center. She was 72. Awilda was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Juana and Jose Cortes. She is predeceased by her father; and husband, Angel Manuel Quinones. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved mother, Juana (Rodrigues) Cortes; children, Wanda and husband, Rick Perez, Michelle and husband, Jeremy Solis, Arlene and husband, Jose Perez; grandchildren, Christopher, Jaimy, Evann, Jaden, Akayla, Lia, Elynn and Eastonn; great-granddaughter, Chrisalynn Angelina;  brother, Jose Cortes; and her nieces and nephews.  Visiting hours will be held from 2-4PM and 7-9PM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.  Prayers will said 9AM at the funeral home on Friday, September 29, 2023 followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Bound Brook. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
