Anne Romero

Ponte Vedra Beach, FL- Anne Romero, died peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Sunrise of Jacksonville. Daughter of the late Harry and Mary Pawlyszyn, Anne was born in East Meadow, Long Island, she then lived in Elizabeth, Linden, and Annandale, before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Anne worked in banking for a good part of her early years. She enjoyed reading, socializing, spending time with her family and was an avid cat and animal lover. She was married in 1952, and was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph S. Romero in 1995. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved son, Gregory J. Romero and wife June of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, grandchildren, Gregory J. Romero, Jr. and wife Gina of Madison, NJ, and Dr. Kyle E. Romero and wife, Erin of Palm City, FL.  Private funeral services were entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Anne, to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
