Anna Teresak, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, after a long life filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of sass.
One of seven born in Somerville, NJ, Anna was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Casino. She spent most of her life in Raritan before moving to Centerbridge II in Bridgewater.
Anna worked as a machine operator for BioSearch Medical Products in Branchburg, retiring in 1994. She was known for her strong work ethic, deep love for her family, and her famous martinis — which she always enjoyed with friends and sharp wit. She was an amazing cook and always made enough food for an army. She was known for her homemade sauce and meatballs. A proud mother and grandmother, Anna, didn’t hesitate to brag about her grandchildren. You knew Anna loved you when she gave you a swift slap when she saw you. She was equal parts sweet and spicy — a true original.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andrew W. “Buddy” Teresak, Sr., in 2012, and no doubt they’re now reunited and arguing (lovingly); and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Andrew W. Teresak, II and his wife Debora of Ft. Payne, AL; James Teresak of Bridgewater; and Darryl Teresak and his wife Barbara of Whitehouse Station. She also leaves behind five adored grandchildren — Spencer (Jessica), Christopher (Chelsea), Melissa Clements (Trevor), Shannon, and Justin —8 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madelynn, Walter, Everett, Jamie, Peyton, Addison and Dawson.
Private funeral services were entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
