Angela Tsang

Angela Tsang, 47, passed away in the loving arms of her husband, Jonathan Kim on April 1, 2026. Angela will be remembered for her creativity, kindness, and a deep love for nature, animals, and the arts. She was preceded in death by her father, Hon Ping Tsang and her mother, Pui Kam Tsang. She is survived by her loving husband;  brother, Jason Tsang (Carmen), their children Emily, Jamie, and Abella; sisters On Lei Jung (Kurt), their children Eric and Nicole and On Nar Linda Cartaya (Dan), and their daughter Annaliese.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia Chinatown and attended Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic School (1992) and Philadelphia High School for Girls (1996). Angela graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the Temple University Tyler School of Art (2000). Angela built a meaningful career in the design field, working at several respected companies, including Hallmark in Kansas City, Missouri. She also worked at Baby Boom Consumer Products in Newark, NJ where she received the opportunity to travel to Shenzhen, China. Finally, she worked at the Franco Manufacturing Company in Metuchen, NJ. Angela’s work reflected creativity, dedication, and an eye for beauty that carried on every stage of her life.

Outside of work, Angela found great joy in caring for plants and animals. She shared the same love for plants and gardening as her mother. They both had a green thumb. She also had a special bond with Bailey, a beloved Maltese dog for 18 years, and Hubba and Bubba, cherished turtles who were companions for 20+ years. These relationships reflected Angela’s gentle spirit and deep appreciation for all living things. Angela’s warmth, creativity, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know and love her. In the family, she was considered the cool and fun aunt. She spoiled her nieces and nephew like her own children with the latest and greatest gifts and games.  

A viewing and prayer service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. The viewing will start at 9:30am. The prayer service will be officiated by Fr. Thomas R. Betz, OFM Cap. and will start at 11:00 am.
