Martinsville- Angela Prokopczyk, 84, died peacefully at home in Martinsville, NJ. Daughter of the late Michael and Rita Assante, Angela was a lifelong resident of Martinsville. She was predeceased by by her husband, Robert E.  Prokopczyk,  her companion of over 30 years, Martin Bajor, and brother, Leonard Assante. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children, Robert E. Prokopczyk Jr., Michael J. Prokopczyk of Martinsville, Susan V. Prokopczyk and husband, Bruce Herve of Milford; grandson, Kyle Herve; and brother, Michael Assante of Martinsville.
 
Angela worked in management at AT&T for years and made great friends there.  She was an active member in both the Hunterdon Canoe Club and the Mohawk Canoe Club.  Angela was an avid animal lover rescuing many dogs and donating generously to animal rescue groups. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, kayaking, traveling, photography, cooking and being with her family.  She will be dearly missed.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Best friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah.
