Alphonso "Al" Troisi, aged 59, passed away on August 25, 2024, in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Al was known for his unique and playful spirit, often rewording songs and items just for a laugh. His candid, no-filter personality brought joy and a bit of surprise to those around him. A true entertainer at heart, Al's favorite pastimes included walking his beloved dog, Cheech, and tuning in to wrestling matches every Friday night.
Before retiring, Al dedicated years of service to the Trump Casino, where his vibrant character and sharp wit were well-known among colleagues and guests alike. His commitment to his work was only matched by his dedication to his country; Al was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Al leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara Troisi, and his daughters Jessica Shea, Kari Hener, and Allison Pohorence. He was a cherished grandfather to Jason, JT, Alta, Kai, and Madi. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria Bolton (John). Al was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonso and Concetta "Connie" Troisi, and his brother, Thomas Troisi.
Al's favorite TV show was "Naked and Afraid," which he watched with the same adventurous spirit with which he lived his life. Despite his playful demeanor, he deeply loved his family, friends, and his dog, Cheech, who misses him dearly.
A private burial service will be held to honor Al's life and legacy. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him as a man who lived life on his own terms, with a joke never far from his lips.
Arrangements by the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
