Alan T. Lentzsch

Manville-Alan T. Lentzsch, 68, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at his home in Manville, surrounded by his loving family. Alan was born in Basking Ridge, NJ to the late Henry and Genevieve (Finter) Lentzsch. He was raised in Basking Ridge before moving to Somerville to start a family of his own, then spent many years living in Three Bridges, and finally settled down in Manville for the remainder of his life.  He was employed for LEX Associates in Edison for 15 years, and spent many years of his life on the road in the trucking delivery business. He loved his job and was fortunate to travel all over the United States.  In his spare time, Alan enjoyed antique shopping, watching sports, especially tennis and Giants football, live music performances and watching every singing competition show on television, playing backgammon, sharing a cup of coffee, and spending time with his family and friends.

Alan is predeceased by his parents and brother Hank Lentzsch.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Katarzyna “Kasia” Lentzsch; daughters Jessica (Brent) Laurin, and Melynie Irey, step-sons Tomasz, Mariusz, and Wojtek, his grandchildren Monica, Maya, Ruby, Peter, Jenna, Julia, C.J., Patryk, Mia, Gaja, Filip, Kacper, and Jan, his sisters Linda (John) Robinson, Jackie, Carol (Robert) Maciborski, Cindy (George) Mobus, Sheri (Henri) Coene, brother Ray, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were entrusted to Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Interment of ashes at Bound Brook Cemetery will take place on September 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
