Richard B. Dardas
Bridgewater- Richard B Dardas, 81, died peacefully, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater. Son of the late Frank and Marjorie Dardas, he was born and raised in Bay City, MI before residing in Bridgewater for over 35 years. Dick was employed by various companies during his career, including Pfizer as a researcher, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics as the Director of Quality Control, and most recently by Oppenheimer & Co. as consultant, retiring in 1996. He was past president of the Daylily Club. In his spare time, Dick enjoyed photography and editing his pictures. One of his greatest joys was traveling around the world with his wife, visiting China, Europe and Guatemala, etc. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Dick leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of over 40 years, Eleonore (Gramatte) Dardas; son, Richard Dardas; twin brothers, Dr. Gary Dardas and his wife Patricia, and Dr. Terry Dardas and his wife Joan, many nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Private cremation was entrusted to the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A private memorial will be held in Michigan at a later date.
