Mary J. Casey

Bound Brook - Mary J. Casey, 97, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 at RWJ at Somerset in Somerville. She was born in Reed, KY, to the late Thomas and Margaret Mudd and was raised in Evansville, IN before moving to Bound Brook in 1957. She was employed by Vaughans Seed in Bridgewater as a Picker Packer for many years and most recently was employed by Somerset County Vo-Tech School as a cafeteria aid. Mary was a communicant and member of St. Mary of Czestochowa’s Altar Rosary Society. In her spare time Mary enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting and reading.  Most of all she loved helping others and spending time with friends and family.

 She is predeceased by her husband, James E. Casey, who passed in 2000.

 Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory daughters, Jenese Decibus and husband, Nicholas of Somerset, NJ, Regina Killough and husband, Raymond of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Nicholas, Rachel, Keith and one great-granddaughter Annellie.

 Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said at 9:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2019 at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at St. Mary of Czestochowa in Bound Brook. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
