Lucia Villani

Lucia Villani (Nee: DeCicco) 83 of South Bound Brook entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 surrounded by her family at her home.

The funeral will be conducted at the Bridgewater Funeral Home 707 Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 9:15 AM.  A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 AM from Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook. Interment follows at Bound Brook Cemetery where Lucia will be laid to rest beside her husband. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM and from 8:30 AM on Tuesday. Lucia was born in Benevento, Italy in 1936 and came to the United States in 1959. She married Luigi her loving husband of 54 years in 1965. She raised a family with traditions that were true to her heart and will continue to thrive through her children and grand-children.  Lucia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, Aunt and sister and will be missed dearly.

Lucia is survived by her loving children Franco S Villani, his wife Toni-Lynn, hers daughter Anna Wieczorek and her husband Adam, Rose Budka and her husband Walter. She was the cherished Nonni to Christian Wieczorek, Nicole Budka, Ella Bailey Villani and Frank Patrick Villani. Dear sister to Letizia Meola, Mercedes Esposito, and Elena Fusco, brother Pasquale DeCicco, and his wife Paola,  Carmine DeCicco, and his wife Angelina, and sister-in-law Josephine Vicidomini. She is predeceased by her husband Luigi Villani, sisters Maria Salerno and Theresa Zugaro, brother-in-law Mario Meola, sister-in-law Raffaella Labruzza and her husband Vincent Labruzza.  Lucia has many loving nieces, nephews, and friends and her spirit will live on through her family.
