Foster M. Dalrymple, Jr.

Bridgewater- Foster M. Dalrymple, Jr., 85 died Wednesday, 8-20-2008 at Harborside Woods Edge in Bridgewater. Born in Clinton, Foster was a lifelong resident of Bridgewater. He was a 1940 graduate of Somerville High School. Foster served during WWII in the United States Army. He entered in 1942 and was honorably discharged in 1946. He worked for Union Carbide in Piscataway for 30 years retiring in 1987 as a foreman. Foster is predeceased by his wife Ruby (Townley) Dalrymple and is survived by his son, David Dalrymple of Bridgewater and daughter Dale Dalrymple of Stockton and a sister Constance Hien of Clearwater, FL. The visitation will take place on Monday from 1pm until 2:30 pm at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Burial will be private.
