Effie M. Eosso

Bridgewater- Effie M. Eosso, 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her residence in Bridgewater. Daughter of the late Rufus Washington and Mary Jones, she was born and raised in Metuchen before moving to Bridgewater in 1964. She was a co-owner of Club 21 in Bridgewater since 1963. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Effie is predeceased by her husband, Gaetano M. Eosso, Jr. who died in 2004. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Gaetano M. Eosso, III and wife Martha, and Barbara Bowlby and husband, Thomas J.; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings, Clark Jones and Mary Berg.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-5PM, Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Funeral services will be 10AM, Monday, at the funeral home followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
