Biography

Bridgewater- Deborah Anna DeAbrantes (nee Herburger), 55, passed away on October 3, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hoboken, she resided in Manville for 13 years prior to moving to Bridgewater 10 years ago. Deborah worked as a bookkeeper for Force Transfer before working as a teacher's assistant in the Adamsville and Hamilton school districts, aiding autistic children for the past 8 years. She was an active member of the Manville PTA prior to her move to Bridgewater in 2001. Deborah loved reading, spending family vacations at the beach, grooming horses and supporting her children at their sporting events. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister.
She is predeceased by her father, Robert Herburger. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 22 years, Esmael DeAbrantes; children Nikki and Bryan; mother Caroline Herburger; brothers Robert Herburger Jr. and Richard Herburger and wife Angela and sister Patti Lynn Colucci and husband Vincent.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 2-6 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater NJ 08807. A Funeral Service will take place during the visiting hours at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the JFK Foundation Haven Hospice, 80 James St, Second floor, Edison NJ 08820 or to Parents of Autistic Children, 1999 route 88 east, Brick NJ 08724.
