Clifford Fitzgerald

Middlesex-Clifford Fitzgerald, 71, died on Monday, December 16, 2019 at RWJ in  Rahway. Clifford was born in Neptune, NJ and formerly from South Bound Brook before moving to Middlesex where he and his family have resided for over 26 years. Clifford was employed for Shop Rite in Woodbridge for over 40 years retiring in 2009. He was a little league umpire, Pop Warner Football coach for Bound Brook, and a Football Commissioner for the Raritan Valley Conference. Clifford was also a member of the National Judges Association, judging high school marching bands. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Clifford leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 45 years, Joyce Fitzgerald; children, Kevin Fitzgerald and his wife, Mary, and Erin Fitzgerald and fiancé, Walter Hewitt, and five grandchildren, Amber, Madden, Abigail, Kalli, and Zachary.

Visiting hours will be from 12-4PM on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital
